Dr John Wise is the pen name of a doctor who has been a General Practitioner in Norfolk in the East of England for over thirty years. This is the second of three planned volumes of memoirs. The first volume, entitled Getting my head around Me, was reflective and encompassed self-discovery following a diagnosis of Asperger's syndrome late in life. This second volume is about changes, all kinds of changes, encompassing the personal, physical and professional aspects of life. Change is something that we all experience, and it can be both comforting and alarming. When things are going badly we can console ourselves that it won't last forever. Conversely, when things are going well then we know that it must surely come to an end and that, however much we try to prevent it, that good situation will slip through our fingers eventually. Such has been the case with myself, and I have documented changes that have occurred to me, and why they happened, and their consequences. I hope that you find it informative, enlightening, and in places amusing.
