Livro de destaques: Feira de Iniciação Científica 2016
A universidade deve sua existência à construção do conhecimento. A divulgação, a discussão e o consequente aprimoramento deste conhecimento têm espaço reconhecido e consolidado em eventos como a Feira de Iniciação Científica (FIC), um dos quatro eventos que compõem o Programa Inovamundi da Universidade Feevale. A FIC 2016 manteve a quantidade e a diversidade de trabalhos científicos de anos anteriores e manteve a busca pelo aprimoramento de todos processos a fim de qualificar constantemente o evento. Nesse ano, foram submetidos à avaliação 849 resumos científicos. A análise classificatória selecionou 828 trabalhos que foram apresentados em forma de sessões temáticas e no formato de pôsteres virtuais. Destes, 60 foram inscritos por acadêmicos de 22 diferentes Instituições de ensino brasileiras. No que tange às áreas do conhecimento, 283 trabalhos aceitos pertencem às Ciências da Saúde, 174 às Ciências Exatas e Tecnológicas, 174 às Ciências Humanas, Letras e Artes e 197 às Ciências Sociais Aplicadas.

A bacia do Rio dos Sinos, teve um crescimento contínuo de assentamentos humanos e, sobretudo no último século, a pressão antrópica modificou a paisagem, passando de Mata Atlântica para terras agropecuárias, indústrias, cidades e uma grande rede de rodovias. Isto erodiu o ecossistema da bacia com poluição das águas superficiais e subterrâneas, com a perda de biodiversidade e uma diminuição na variabilidade genética das populações, o que também trouxe um efeito negativo sobre a sociedade.

Pestel analysis based on neutrosophic cognitive maps and neutrosophic numbers for the sinos river basin management
The Sinos River watershed is one of the most polluted water basins in Brazil with great efforts for its recovery through integral management. PESTEL is an analysis for the study of the external variables with influence in the efficiency of the organization or project. This paper presents a model to address problems encountered in the measurement and evaluation process of PESTEL analysis taking into account interdependencies among sub-factors and modeling uncertainty and indeterminacy in Sinos river basin. A Neutrosophic Cognitive Maps was used for modeling the integrated structure of PESTEL sub-factors. A quantitative analysis was developed based on static analysis and neutrosophic numbers. To demonstrate the applicability of the proposal in the Sinos river external factor analysis a case study is developed. Interdependencies among subfactors were includes and uncertainty and indeterminacy were modeled in a practical way. Sub-factor was ranked and reduced, with Ecological, Technological and Social are the top three factors. The paper ends with a conclusion and future work recommendations.
