The proposed book titled as “Bioprospection of Coproducts and Agro-industrial Wastes: A Sustainable Biotechnological Approach”, seeks to offer the importance of the recycling, reuse of food residue, byproducts of fruits and agri-wastes to the academic community and industries. In developing countries facing malnutrition and environmental problems, this book would be very useful. The food waste and the residues resulting from this process are now becoming environmental problems. These mainly include leaves, stems, seeds, bark, and roots that have high nutritional value, many times even greater than the part usually consumed. It is a pressing priority to reuse and recycle the waste which is detrimental to the environment. This book would be an essential reading for students, researchers, and people from the food and pharma industry.
This book provides a multifaceted view on the relation between the old and the new in music, between tradition and innovation. This is a much-debated issue, generating various ideas and theories, which rarely come to unanimous conclusions. Therefore, the book offers diverse perspectives on topics such as national identities, narrative strategies, the question of musical performance and musical meaning. Alongside themes of general interest, such as classical repertoire, the music of well-established composers and musical topics, the chapters of the book also touch on specific, but equally interesting subjects, like Brazilian traditions, Serbian and Romanian composers and the lullaby. While the book is mostly addressed to researchers, it can also be recommended to students in musicology, ethnomusicology, musical performance, and musical semiotics.

Precision medicine, or personalized medicine, is related to treatment based on the patient’s individual characteristics. To promote this personalized approach, diseases must accurately be diagnosed; specific biomarkers can predict disease evolution and optimize therapy based on each patient's characteristics such as their genetic background, lifestyle and environmental risk factors. Over the years, we have seen a revolution in pharmacotherapy and management of patients receiving personalized medicine, especially when we consider immunotherapy and specific tyrosine kinases inhibitors. Patients with inflammatory diseases, such as monogenetic diabetes and chronic kidney disease, have benefited from the progress made within the last decade related to our understanding of the genetic basis of diabetes. Similarly, patients in precision oncology, with breast, prostate and blood cancer have experienced better overall survival rates with targeted therapy such as trastuzumab (breast cancer), PARPs inhibitors (prostate cancer), imatinib, ibrutinib and venetoclax (leukemia).
