This proceedings consists of fifty one selected papers presented at the 2015 International Workshop on Materials, Manufacturing Technology, Electronics and Information Science (MMTEI2015), which was successfully held in Wuhan, China during October 9-11, 2015.MMTEI2015 covered a wide range of fundamental studies, technical innovations and industrial applications in the 4 areas, namely Material Science and Application, Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics,Electronics Engineering and Microelectronics, and Information Science.This workshop aims to provide a forum for scientists, scholars, engineers and students from universities all around the world and the industry to present ongoing research activities, and hence to foster research relations between universities and the industry. All accepted papers were subjected to a strict peer-review process by 2-3 expert referees.
The 2016 International Workshop on Material Science and Environmental Engineering (IWMSEE2016) was held in Wuhan, Hubei, China from January 22nd to January 24th, 2016. Out of the 214 submissions from various parts of the world, only 85 papers were chosen by the Technical Program Committee.IWMSEE2016 aims to bring together researchers, engineers and students from the areas of Material Science and Environmental Engineering to share and discuss the output of their research and the progress made, in the areas of Material Science and Engineering, Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development, Renewable Energy and Building Energy Saving, Environmental Science and Engineering, Modeling, Simulation and Control System and Safety Management.The conference program is extremely rich and profound and features high-impact presentations of selected papers and additional ground-breaking contributions. All the selected papers demonstrate elements of originality, significance and clarity for the purpose of this conference.

The tumor microenvironment (TME) plays a critical role in tumor proliferation, progression, and therapeutic responses. TME is a complex network of cancer cells, stromal cells, and, most importantly, infiltrating immune cells. Cancer cells regulate numerous biological functions through direct or indirect interaction with TME components. Emerging evidence suggests that TME crucially influences the response to both chemotherapy and immunotherapy. As scientific research has entered the big data era with the fast development of high-throughput sequencing technologies, machine learning has been gradually widely applied to extract important knowledge from big data bioinformatics. Thus, characterizing the TME landscape in cancer and identifying different immune-related TME phenotypes using machine learning-based bioinformatics analyses, in vitro experiments, and in vivo experiments are of great interest and significance.
Here is the first translation into English of the complete Yin-Hai Jing-Wei, a classic fifteenth-century text on Chinese ophthalmology. As one of the few original manuscripts on traditional Chinese medicine translated into a Western language, this work offers an unprecedented view of the practice of medicine, and specifically eye care, in premodern China. Superbly rendered from the classical Chinese and extensively annotated by Paul U. Unschuld and Jürgen Kovacs, the text provides detailed descriptions of the etiology, symptomatology, and therapy of every eye disease known to fifteenth-century Chinese practitioners. The translators' introduction also provides the first in-depth analysis of the development of this specialty within Chinese medicine. As a source for comparative studies of Chinese and Western medicine and numerous other issues in the history of medicine and Chinese thought, the Yin-Hai Jing-Wei has no equal in the Western world.
