Final Victory

Final Victory is the thought-provoking story of young boys who are caught up in the propaganda machine of Hitler's Germany during World War II. Jurgen Wolf is convinced that Hitler is a hero, whose vision of Germany should be defended at all costs. He shows immense bravery and fearlessness, but as the war turns against German, and the Nazi empire begins to collapse, Jurgen is left questioning what to believe. Flashbacks are dramatic stories set during key moments in history. Strong characters and thrilling plots bring the past to life.

Ordinary Germans in Extraordinary Times

Hildesheim is a mid-sized provincial town in northwest Germany. Ordinary Germans in Extraordinary Times is a carefully drawn account of how townspeople went about their lives and reacted to events during the Nazi era. Andrew Stuart Bergerson argues that ordinary Germans did in fact make Germany and Europe more fascist, more racist, and more modern during the 1930s, but they disguised their involvement behind a pre-existing veil of normalcy. Bergerson details a way of being, believing, and behaving by which "ordinary Germans" imagined their powerlessness and absence of responsibility even as they collaborated in the Nazi revolution. He builds his story on research that includes anecdotes of e...

In pre-colonial Namibia, Cornelia was a companion and niece of the Oorlam-Nama captain, Jan Jonker Afrikaner. Cornelia joined her uncle's men on commando in their territorial battles in Namibia (Damaraland and Namaland) during the 1860s. Her relationship with the young British trader, James Neave, was cut short when she died during an attack on Windhoek. One and a quarter centuries later, the ghost of Cornelia reveals herself to her relative, Julienne van Wyk, and from there onwards the events of the novel, which are set in the Namibian independence period of 1989 and include the growing relationship between Julienne and Simon, are partly guided by Cornelia.

Reflections on My Life

Thomas H. Olbricht grew up in Churches of Christ, has taught in several of their universities, and has given religious lectures on six continents and in most states in the United States. He has met most leaders in Churches of Christ globally. He has been active in several religious and rhetoric societies and has worked with leaders in all these organizations to bring about changes over the past sixty years. C. Clifton Black and Duane F. Watson wrote about Olbricht, "Tom Olbricht possesses a memory of elephantine proportions. Not only does he have at his fingertips the names and places and dates; better than most he understands how the study of rhetoric has flourished among, while cross-pollinating, multiple disciplines in the humanities, classics, English, speech communication, and religion."
