This book is about my mother's death and my search for the truth. I search for it as in my dreams I search to find the truth of her life and her death. Moreover, as we go on this journey we will encounter the numerous doors slammed in my face, and the whispers and the closed records beginning to be opened from the doctors who treated my mother. Mostly, we'll experience the hospital's lack of care, along with the foster home and the ambulance attendants' responsibility. I will show with the hospital's own records how sloppy, incomplete, and how deadly their treatment of my mother really was. This is not my story, but my mother's story, and like many other daughters and sons, who have gone through this experience, I want to learn the truth about my mother's life and death. This true story is difficult for me to write, as I was a thorn in my mother's side. Nevertheless, I feel I must write it for her, for the purpose of justice for her, and also justice for patients who become victims of hospitals and their deadly care.
