Testi trevigiani della prima metà del Trecento
Il trevigiano è una delle varietà venete medievali meno conosciute in quanto i testi a oggi noti si sono dimostrati per varie ragioni insufficienti ai fini di una descrizione linguistica. Nella prima parte del libro si dà edizione di un quaderno di conti relativo all’attività di un mastro pellicciaio attivo tra il 1348 e il 1350: questo testo permette di illustrare i tratti di una varietà fortemente caratterizzata in senso contrastivo rispetto al vicino veneziano, che pure a partire dalla metà del secolo era stato assunto come codice privilegiato specie nei canali di comunicazione ufficiali. Segue l’edizione di un breve manipolo di testi d’estrazione notarile compilati entro il 1350, che consente di anticipare la penetrazione di questo modello di koinè all’inizio del secolo, a dimostrazione della coesistenza, nella Treviso del sec. XIV, di due varietà distinte in base all’àmbito d’uso.
