Informatics Empowers Healthcare Transformation
Biomedical Informatics is now indispensible in modern healthcare, and the field covers a very broad spectrum of research and application outcomes, ranging from cell to population, and including a number of technologies such as imaging, sensors, and biomedical equipment, as well as management and organizational subjects. This book presents 65 full papers and two keynote speeches from the 2017 edition of the International Conference on Informatics, Management, and Technology in Healthcare (ICIMTH 2017), held in Athens, Greece in July 2017. The papers are grouped in three chapters, and cover a wide range of topics, reflecting the current scope of Biomedical Informatics. Medical Informatics in a United and Healthy Europe
This volume contains the proceedings of the twenty-second International Conference on Medical Informatics Europe MIE 2009, that was held in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, from 30 August to 2 September 2009. The scientific topics present in this proceedings range from national and trans-national eHealth roadmaps, health information and electronic health record systems, systems interoperability and communication standards, medical terminology and ontology approaches, and social networks to Web, Web 2.0, nd Semantic Web solutions for patients, health personnel, and researchers. Furthermore, they include quality assurance and usability of medical informatics systems, specific disease management and telemedicine systems, including a section on devices and snsors, drug safety, clinical decision support and medical expert systems, clinical practice guidelines and protocols, as well as issues on privacy and security. Ambient Intelligence
This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 4th International Joint Conference an Ambient Intelligence, AmI 2013, held in Dublin, Ireland, in December 2013. The 15 revised full papers, 4 papers from the landscape track, 3 papers from the doctoral colloquium and 6 demo and poster papers were carefully reviewed and selected from numerous submissions and are presented with 6 workshop descriptions.
