Kniha Ženské hrdinky a jejich zobrazování v českých televizních krimiseriálech věnovaná českým kriminalistkám reflektuje zájem o zobrazování genderových identit v divácky celosvětově oblíbeném žánru krimi. Výzkum současných televizních krimiseriálů přináší výpověď o aktuální podobě zobrazování postav v české TV tvorbě. Prostřednictvím výzkumu dekády české televizní krimitvorby vzniká unikátní mapa období přerodu české TV kriminální produkce. Vysvětlena jsou specifická tuzemská schémata zobrazování ženských postav, stejně jako patrné pronikání zahraničních tendencí. Přestože se česká TV tvorba zaměřená na kriminální narativy ve zkoumaném období proměnila, je v mnoha případech stále na začátku vývoje.
