The two-volume set LNCS 6755 and LNCS 6756 constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 38th International Colloquium on Automata, Languages and Programming, ICALP 2011, held in Zürich, Switzerland, in July 2011. The 114 revised full papers (68 papers for track A, 29 for track B, and 17 for track C) presented together with 4 invited talks, 3 best student papers, and 3 best papers were carefully reviewed and selected from a total of 398 submissions. The two-volume set LNCS 6198 and LNCS 6199 constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 37th International Colloquium on Automata, Languages and Programming, ICALP 2010, held in Bordeaux, France, in July 2010. The 106 revised full papers (60 papers for track A, 30 for track B, and 16 for track C) presented together with 6 invited talks were carefully reviewed and selected from a total of 389 submissions. The papers are grouped in three major tracks on algorithms, complexity and games; on logic, semantics, automata, and theory of programming; as well as on foundations of networked computation: models, algorithms and information management. LNCS 6198 contains 60 contributions of track A selected from 222 submissions as well as 2 invited talks.
Approximation and Online Algorithms
This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post workshop proceedings of the 7th International Workshop on Approximation and Online Algorithms, WAOA 2009, held in Copenhagen, Denmark, in September 2009 as part of the ALGO 2009 conference event. This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 16th Annual European Symposium on Algorithms, ESA 2008, held in Karlsruhe, Germany, in September 2008 in the context of the combined conference ALGO 2008. The 67 revised full papers presented together with 2 invited lectures were carefully reviewed and selected: 51 papers out of 147 submissions for the design and analysis track and 16 out of 53 submissions in the engineering and applications track.
