Internet of Things in Biomedical Engineering

Internet of Things in Biomedical Engineering presents the most current research in Internet of Things (IoT) applications for clinical patient monitoring and treatment. The book takes a systems-level approach for both human-factors and the technical aspects of networking, databases and privacy. Sections delve into the latest advances and cutting-edge technologies, starting with an overview of the Internet of Things and biomedical engineering, as well as a focus on ‘daily life.’ Contributors from various experts then discuss ‘computer assisted anthropology,’ CLOUDFALL, and image guided surgery, as well as bio-informatics and data mining. This comprehensive coverage of the industry and ...

A Novel Neutrosophic Data Analytic Hierarchy Process for Multi-Criteria Decision Making Method: A Case Study in Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange

This paper proposes a multi-criteria decision making method called the neutrosophic data analytical hierarchy process (NDAHP) for the single-valued neutrosophic set (SVNS). This method is an extension of the neutrosophic analytic hierarchy process (NAHP) but was designed to handle actual datasets which consists of crisp values. Our proposed NDAHP method uses an objective weighting mechanism whereas all other existing versions of the AHP, fuzzy AHP and other fuzzy based AHP method in literature such as the NAHP and picture fuzzy AHP uses a subjective weighting mechanism to arrive at the decision. This makes our proposed NDAHP method a very objective one as the weightage of the criteria which ...

Bipolar neutrosophic soft sets and applications in decision making

Neutrosophic set, proposed by Smarandache considers a truth membership function, an indeterminacy membership function and a falsity membership function. Soft set, proposed by Molodtsov is a mathematical framework which has the ability of independency of parameterizations inadequacy, syndrome of fuzzy set, roughset, probability.

Fuzzy Equivalence on Standard and Rough Neutrosophic Sets and Applications to Clustering Analysis

In this paper, we propose the concept of fuzzy equivalence on standard neutrosophic sets and rough standard neutrosophic sets. We also provide some formulas for fuzzy equivalence on standard neutrosophic sets and rough standard neutrosophic sets. We also apply these formulas for cluster analysis. Numerical examples are illustrated.

A novel group decision making model based on neutrosophic sets for heart disease diagnosis

In a developed society, people have more concerned about their health. Thus, improvement of medical field application has been one of the greatest active study areas. Medical statistics show that heart disease is the main reason for morbidity and death in the world. The physician’s job is difficult because of having too many factors to analyze in the diagnosis of heart disease. Besides, data and information gained by the physician for diagnosis are often partial and immersed. Recently, health care applications with the Internet of Things (IoT) have offered different dimensions and other online services.

Advances in Information and Communication Technology

This book contains four keynote abstracts and 83 best peer-reviewed papers selected from the 179 submissions at the 2nd International Conference on Advances in ICT (ICTA 2023), which share research results and practical applications in ICT research and education. Technological changes and digital transformation that have taken place over the past decade have had significant impacts on all economic and social sectors. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in general and artificial intelligence (AI) in particular have driven socio-economic growth. The topics cover all ICT-related areas and their contributions to socio-economic development, focusing on the most advanced technologies, such as AI. Researchers and practitioners in academia and industry use the books as a valuable reference for their research activities, teaching, learning, and advancing current technologies. The Conference is hosted by Thai Nguyen University of Information and Communication Technology (ICTU).

On the Stabilizability for a Class of Linear Time-Invariant Systems Under Uncertainty

The uncertainty principle is one of themost important features in modeling and solving linear time-invariant (LTI) systems. The neutrality phenomena of some factors in real models have been widely recognized by engineers and scientists. The convenience and flexibility of neutrosophic theory in the description and differentiation of uncertainty terms make it take advantage of modeling and designing of control systems. This paper deals with the controllability and stabilizability of LTI systems containing neutrosophic uncertainty in the sense of both indeterminacy parameters and functional relationships. We define some properties and operators between neutrosophic numbers via horizontal members...
