Trieste Publishing has a massive catalogue of classic book titles. Our aim is to provide readers with the highest quality reproductions of fiction and non-fiction literature that has stood the test of time. The Lion and the Unicorn and Other Hairy Tales

For her third volume in The Story Collector series, acclaimed author and illustrator Jane Ray ventures into forests, jungles, mountains, and even imaginary worlds. Here you will find stories about animals of all kinds: rough-skinned elephants, yellow-eyed tigers, hulking great bears, elegant springing antelope, wily rabbits, and more. The tales--which feature transformation, magic, empathy, kindness, and trickery--include: "The Singing Ringing Tree," "Theseus and the Minotaur," "How the Rhinoceros Got his Skin," and "The Leopard's Promise."
