Ce petit livre comprend un texte de l'artiste et une lettre de Louise Déry adressée à Michael Snow prenant tous deux pour point de réflexion l'oeuvre Souffle solaire (Cariatides du Nord) produite en 2002. Michael Snow y dévoile les liens qui se tissent parfois entre ce qui existe et ce qui est perçu, révélant à travers le regard porté sur son oeuvre des éléments qui continuent de ponctuer sa démarche et d'enrichir son rapport au monde. Cette publication a été réalisée à l'occasion de l'exposition Michael Snow. Windows, présentée à la Galerie de l'UQAM du 9 septembre au 8 octobre 2005. L'ouvrage a remporté un prix au concours Grafika 2006.
