Odio Barcelona
Yo no odio Barcelona, pero Londres sí. La odio de todo corazón; de hecho, cuando voy a Londres tengo que beber el triple de lo que normalmente bebo, sólo para mantener la calma, de tanto odio que siento por aquella maldita mierda de ciudad. Trumpismo discursivo
Las narrativas reaccionarias del primer cuarto de siglo están moldeando una ideología y un sentido común de época excluyentes. Este libro ofrece un análisis profundo y crítico del discurso de la extrema derecha actual, examinando su origen, expansión y efectos en la política global contemporánea, en donde el estilo comunicativo de Donald Trump actúa como catalizador clave. Partiendo de la caracterización del discurso fascista en la primera mitad de siglo XX, se analizan los discursos de los shocks globales del neoliberalismo en el primer cuarto de siglo y las estrategias comunicativas de las nuevas derechas en la era postdigital, prestando especial atención a la circulación de sus discursos en las redes sociales y los efectos de copia propios de la era de la imitación iliberal. Los imaginarios sociodiscursivos diseminados por la extrema derecha, los rasgos del discurso populista y la pose enunciativa antiestablishment son abordados para dar luz al fenómeno del «trumpismo discursivo», que ha redefinido la comunicación política contemporánea con la internacionalización de un estilo agresivo, simplista y provocador para escandalizar, polarizar y confundir.
