Im Mittelpunkt steht die Geschichte der Familie Wehnert, die in Wertheim zahlreiche Erinnerungsspuren hinterlassen hat. Hinzugefügt sind einzelne Beiträge zu Ereignissen und Personen, die zu Wertheim in einem Bezug stehen. Die Erinnerungen reichen bis in das 19. Jahrhundert zurück; die Refl exionen und Berichte betreff en jüngere und gegenwärtige Erfahrungen und Erlebnisse. Synodale Communio
Was meint Papst Franziskus damit, dass die Synodalität das sei, was Gott sich von der Kirche im dritten Jahrtausend erwarte? Und welches Kirchenverständnis bildet hierfür die Basis? Im Zuge der Bemühungen der deutschen Bischöfe, der Forderung nach mehr "Synodalität" zu entsprechen, kommen diesbezüglich immer wieder Zweifel auf. Die vorliegende Arbeit analysiert die päpstlichen Äußerungen zum Thema "Synodalität" (2013–2022) und ordnet sie ein in das Raster "Concilium vs. Communio" (Küng – Ratzinger). Dabei zeigt sich, dass das zugrundeliegende Kirchenverständnis von Papst Franziskus eine eucharistische Communio-Ekklesiologie ist, wie sie maßgeblich von Joseph Ratzinger vorgelegt und vom Zweiten Vatikanischen Konzil gelehrt wurde. Synodalität beschreibt ihren praktischen Vollzug.
