This collection of texts is the result of an initiative put forward by Professor Luis M. Mansilla's former students and directed at all those that studied under him during his 25 years of teaching. The project was supported by the Escuela Tecnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid and saw the light of day on May 8, 2012 as part of the homage paid to him by the University.

"From 2008 to 2010, Madrid-based architects Mansilla + Tunon taught at the Princeton University School of Architecture. The Mansilla + Tunon Studios 2008 - 2010: Between Rules and Constraints brings together the essential ideas of the studios held by the architects. The book focuses on the atmosphere of the studios through the lens of each discussed site: the Farnsworth House in Plano, Illinois, the Spanish Royal Collection Museum, and the Gran Via, both in Madrid, Spain.
