Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira nació en Sao Paulo (Brasil) el 13 de diciembre de 1908, y allí también falleció el 3 de octubre de 1995. Fue Diputado de la Asamblea Constituyente brasileña. Profesor en la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Sao Paulo, periodista y escritor, autor de diecinueve libros y de miles de artículos, más también eminente líder católico y hombre de acción.
