Um novo direito administrativo?
“Um novo direito administrativo?” é uma obra que procura identificar as principais transformações e os novos desafios que o direito administrativo atualmente enfrenta por força das influências que sobre ele exercem os fenómenos da integração na União Europeia e o direito produzido pelas organizações internacionais. Nela damos conta da influência dos ordenamentos jurídicos externos, que se entrelaçam com o ordenamento jurídico nacional em decorrência da abertura constitucional, assim como das modificações internas motivadas pela assimilação dos contributos das ciências sociais e económicas, que concorreram para o desencadear do “novo método do direito administrativo”. Trata-se de um trabalho orientado para uma função pedagógica, e por essa razão assenta numa estrutura simples, exemplificativa e, fundamentalmente, problematizadora, cujo objetivo é desencadear a discussão de “questões clássicas” à luz do novo enquadramento, esperando assim encetar um diálogo com os leitores e conseguir muitas e frutíferas respostas à questão provocatória que lançamos: um novo direito administrativo?
Climate and Environmental Change in the Mediterranean Basin – Current Situation and Risks for the Future. First Mediterranean Assessment Report
The First Mediterranean Assessment Report (MAR1) prepared by the independent network of Mediterranean Experts on Climate and environmental Change (MedECC) founded in 2015 was published in November 2020. MAR1 assesses the best available scientific knowledge on climate and environmental change and associated risks in the Mediterranean Basin in order to render it accessible to policymakers, stakeholders and citizens. The report has been written by 190 scientists from 25 countries, all contributing in individual capacity and without financial compensation. The report includes a Summary for Policymakers (SPM), which comprises the key messages of the MAR1. The UNEP/MAP – Barcelona Convention Secretariat, through its Plan Bleu Regional Activity Center, and the Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean work in partnership to support MedECC, and to contribute to establish a sound and transparent scientific assessment process.
