Egldio Marzona is one of the world's leading collectors of contemporary art and a specialist in conceptual art, arte povera and land art. The artworks are kept in different locations throughout Germany, with the nucleus at Marzona's house museum at Verzegnis in the Friullan, where artists such as Bruce Naumann, Sol LeWitt, Richard Long and Lawrence Weiner have created works expressly for the villa's gardens.
