The book is a history of the Dark Corner area of Marshall County, Oklahoma, from the early days of Indian Territory up to the present day. It's somewhat of an autobiography since Willis McWilliams lived much of this history. It includes many pictures and photos of past and present to compare and contrast. Much of the creation and evolution of Lake Texoma is described.
