And the Church Grew
The Book of the Acts is an amazing story of the explosive growth of the early church. One can hardly imagine the growth of this church in the face of sporadic and at times severe persecution. They met without fancy buildings, the pastors seldom had much theological training and they had no Boards, Mission Agencies or organized Church government yet the church grew in an amazing way with the power of love and the words of truth.When I was in seminary years ago there was much discussion about "going back to the first church". The Book of the Acts shows us much of what that early church was like.This is a series of sermons I preached from January 2014 through June of 2015.
