I have written my familys true story as a novel in order to help the reader understand the immense love God has for all of humanity. The story narrates my familys miraculous conversion to Christianity and the struggles we faced because of it. It also includes eyewitness accounts of the persecution experienced by the evangelical church in Colombia during the years 1948 through 1962. In the end, Gods love reaches out and transforms the lives of even the most skeptical family members. God wants that nobody get loss but everybody repented to receive forgiveness of his or her sins and the gif of eternal life.

The Silenced Muse

The first full-length biography of the longtime secret love of the celebrated poet T. S. Eliot, Emily Hale, called "heartbreaking" by Publishers Weekly and The Washington Post calls "a meticulously researched book that reads like a novel.” In January 2020, the largest and most eagerly awaited cache of new materials written by the Nobel-Prize-winning poet T. S. Eliot was finally opened: the 1,131 letters he sent Emily Hale, his little-known American love. But even as Eliot scholars explore Hale’s impact on Eliot’s work, a tantalizing question has not been fully answered: who was Emily Hale? Sara Fitzgerald’s The Silenced Muse: Emily Hale, T. S. Eliot, and the Role of a Lifetime is the...

Self-Care

If you can identify with any of the following, this book is for you! Me-time is selfish and time-wasting. It's easier to say yes to others than to myself. My work computer is part of my vacation luggage. My goal is to live the biblical definition of joy: Jesus first, others second, yourself last. For many Christians, the concept of loving themselves sounds contrary to Jesus's words: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross" (Matthew 16:24 NIV). Does ''Love your neighbor as yourself" mean our earthly needs are as important as our service to others? Each chapter of Self-Care: Selfish or Sacred? An Interactive Guide to Myths and Misunderstandings looks at a myth about self-care, shares the author's personal struggle, and identifies misconceptions. Scriptural explanations, questions, and prayer prompts are included with blank spaces for interactive use. The book's easy-to-use format is conducive to personal or group study.

While looking at the stars one night on Cobblestone Island, eleven-year-old Julia Bates and her twelve-year-old sister, Lillian, overhear a shocking conversation. They hear a man and woman whisper about making harmful concoctions. Later they discover in the woods a crude little building full of bubbling pots containing dangerous brew. They are terrified when they look on the cauldrons and see, written in chalk, the names of people they know and love. Events come to a thrilling climax on the evening of a lunar eclipse. Ten-year-old Paulina Bates and her twelve-year-old brother, Luke, witness something horrifying. They rush off during the night to investigate. With the help of their three friends from Cottage Parakaleó. Julia and Paulina each make an important discovery. See how each Fruit of the Spirit is discovered in the lives and adventures of the nine Children of the Light. The second book in the series focuses on joy and peace. Nine kids. Nine gifts. Nine blessed.
