L'intento di Giorgio Torelli è quello di raccontare "usi, costumi, ingegno e solitudine" di Giovannino Guareschi, e per fare questo l'autore fa ricorso ai propri ricordi personali (conobbe e frequentò assiduamente l'autore di Don Camillo), ma anche a quelli dei figli Alberto e Carlotta, che hanno reso disponibile molto del materiale per la realizzazione di questo libro. L'opera è costruita come un album di ricordi, episodi, aneddoti, in cui testo e disegni (molti dello stesso Guareschi) contribuiscono a dipingere con verità quel mondo così ricco di umanità e per questo sempre di moda.

The two volume sets LNCS 8033 and 8034 constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 9th International Symposium on Visual Computing, ISVC 2013, held in Rethymnon, Crete, Greece, in July 2013. Macrobicyclic Cryptands
Cryptands, soon after their introduction in early 1970s, have proven enormously useful in several areas of chemistry, biology, and materials science. This is continuously growing and venturing into newer fields of supramolecular chemistry research. There is no other book available that attempts to explore all aspects of cryptand chemistry. This book provides a good account of synthetic methods for different types of cryptands, especially chiral cryptands, which remain mostly unexplored.
