Der vorliegende Band versammelt Beiträge zu politischem Graffiti aus kunst-, kultur- und sprachwissenschaftlicher Perspektive. Dabei geht es nicht nur um Graffiti mit politischen Themen und politischer Wirkungsabsicht, sondern auch um sozio-politische Aspekte von vordergründig unpolitisch erscheinenden Spielarten des Graffiti. Einem weiten Graffiti-Begriff folgend, der auch die Grenzbereiche zur Street Art einschließt, werden Beispiele vom 20. Jahrhundert bis in die Gegenwart interdisziplinär in den Blick genommen und diskutiert. The present volume assembles contributions on political graffiti from an artistic, cultural and linguistic perspective. The volume not only deals with graffiti on political issues and political goals but also with social-political aspects of apparently unpolitical types of graffiti. Following a broader concept of graffiti which also includes the borderlines of street art, samples from the 20th century to modern days are being highlighted and discussed.

Jedná se o česko-německy psanou publikaci. Matriky jsou cenným zdrojem informací o proměnách univerzity v průběhu staletí a představují základní pramen poznání jak pro historiky a archiváře, tak pro laické badatele. Svoje nejstarší záznamy vydávají v podobě edic všechny významné evropské univerzity, je tudíž zcela namístě, aby totéž učinila i Univerzita Palackého. První svazek byl vydán v roce 2017 a k příležitosti 450. výročí jsou připravovány čtyři další, z let 1652–1729. Immatriculation records are a valuable source of information about the changes of the university over the centuries and represent a basic source of knowledge for historians and archivists as well as for lay researchers. All major European universities publish their oldest records in the form of editions, so it is only fitting that Palacký University should do the same. The first volume was published in 2017, and four more volumes, from 1652–1729, are being prepared to mark the 450th anniversary.
Locuri ale memoriei: Politicile simbolice ale spațiului public într-un oraș memorial
Denumirile de străzi, plăcile memoriale și monumentele publice sunt „locuri ale memoriei” care definesc o geografie politică a comemorării. Cine sunt personalitățile, evenimentele istorice și valorile politice după care sunt botezate străzile și care sunt figurile alese pentru a fi imortalizate în piatră sau bronz reflectă modul în care o comunitate alege să își cultive propriul trecut. Cartea de față examinează dintr-o perspectivă interdisciplinară etosul ideologic reflectat în artefactele materiale (busturi, statui, monumente) și nominale (nomenclatorul urban) care alcătuiesc peisajul memorial al Sibiului. Situată la intersecția dintre istoria politică, geografia culturală si sociologia memoriei, lucrarea îmbină analizele documentare cu cele statistice pentru a evidenția, în perspectivă istorică, politicile memoriei așa cum a fost aceasta spațializată într-un „oraș memorial” precum este Sibiul.
Italo-Romance Dialects in the Linguistic Repertoires of Immigrants in Italy
This edited book brings together experts on the sociolinguistics of immigration with a focus on the Italo-Romance dialects. Sociolinguistic research on immigrant communities in Italy has widely studied the acquisition and use of Italian as L2 by first-generation immigrants, the maintenance of immigrant languages and code-switching between Italian and the immigrant languages. However, these studies have mostly ignored or neglected to investigate immigrant speakers’ use of Italo-Romance dialects, their awareness of the sociolinguistic situation of majority and minority languages, and their attitudes towards them. Given the important role of Italo-Romance dialects in everyday communication and as a marker of regional identity, this book aims to fill this gap and understand more about the role that these languages play in the linguistic repertoire of immigrants. This book will be of interest to students and scholars of sociolinguistics, minority languages, multilingualism, migration, and social anthropology.
