The Process of Creating a Healthy Lifestyle

Life is a story and love, meaning and peace of mind make for a good story. Our story is created and experienced by the type of reality created by our thinking process and the decisions made. We make decisions according to our reality, but if our reality is inaccurate we will have a flawed thinking process and make bad decisions that produce unnecessary emotional suffering. Many people get consumed by their emotional suffering and develop addictive behaviors to numb their misery. A dysfunctional life is not a good story. A healthy story begins when we learn to create an effective thinking process that leads to an accurate reality and good decision making. Now one has the chance of creating love, meaning and peace of mind, which make for a good story. What kind of story will you create?

A Workbook for Creating an Effective Thinking Process

We make deciscions according to our reality. If our realilty is distorted/wrong, we make bad decisions that have bad consequences to our well-being. Most people have a flawed thinking process that create a distorted reality that is guided by emotional impulses. The only result is the development of an addictive lifestyle and a troubled life. Happiness, peace of mind, purposeful meaning become a fading dream and one then lives a life never lived. However, we are never a victim and can learn to change an unhealthy life to a healthy life, but only if we learn to create an effective thinking process. This workbook describes an unhealthy life caused by a flawed thinking process and then provides the steps for creating an effective thinking process that will result in living a healthy life.

Iris Nowell identifies a worldwide class of multi-millionaires and billionaires emerging from the early 1990s - Generation Deluxe. Dot-com survivors, self-made entrepreneurs, celebrities, athletes, financiers, real estate moguls, media titans - their wealth starts at $100 million and ascends to the stratospheric affluence of Bill Gates, at $46 billion. The super-rich will spend $50 and $100 million just to build a house, and similar amounts for private jets, boats, and fleets of vehicles. The small change goes for a $25,000 wedding cake, a $1.2 millon watch, a $33,000 night in a Geneva hotel. Iris Nowell's exploration of consumerism reveals that lavish living imposes huge costs on the environment and endangers many forms of life. To clean up the damage, increasing numbers of the new super-rich, along with old-money inheritors, are redirecting their philanthropy to fund environmental protections - and, as never before, are helping to alleviate the global problems of poverty, hunger, illiteracy, and disease.

As a Chess Master who has spent many years playing aggressive and attacking chess, I was quite dismayed during a recent visit to my local bookstore. I was in search of a book that covered an array of attacks against many Pawn formations in an organized fashion. Needless to say, my search came up empty. The books on attacking fell short in many ways. Many of the books were simply a small collection of attack games with no instruction about the art of attacking or about the skills required to become a great attacker. None of them provided the reader with any reference information about attacking or the weaknesses of various Pawn formations. None of them contained games with attacking themes like the Traxler Variation of the Two Knight's Defense, and the Jack Young Fishing Pole. None of them contained any wild attacking ideas that can stream from opening gambits such as the Blackmar-Diemer Gambit, King's Gambit, Scotch Gambit, Nakhmanson Gambit, etc. 500 pages, 435 games, Figurine Chess Notation.
