Los derechos humanos en el cine
Desde su origen, el cine ha sido un medio para transmitir importantes cuestiones de la humanidad, desde los asuntos más cotidianos hasta los temas sociales más complejos. La presente obra tiene la intención de demostrar cómo el tema de los derechos humanos ha estado presente en el mundo de la gran pantalla. Sus objetivos son, en primer lugar, analizar la presencia de los derechos humanos en la narración cinematográfica, haciendo inevitablemente una reflexión tanto sobre el cine como sobre los derechos humanos, y la manera en la que ambos se relacionan. El segundo objetivo es más bien 'pedagógico', pues busca enseñar al lector a ver cine, en el sentido de hacerlo consciente de los elementos ideológicos que se encuentran insertos en el discurso fílmico, sobre los cuales muchas veces no somos conscientes. El tercer objetivo, vinculado con el anterior, es la reivindicación del uso del cine en la enseñanza, siendo imprescindible que, en un mundo audiovisual como el nuestro, se eduque con y sobre el cine.
