The Wrath of the Masses
I wrote this essay adapting Seneca's book. Because the anger described in that book 2,000 years ago describes very well the behavior of the present masses. I think the story is cyclical. And although we would like to believe that we are different or better than our ancestors, it is evident that the symptoms of social discontent are repeated. Also, I have written about anger thinking especially in this age of individualism. Where people get carried away by anger when driving, on social networks, at work, anyway, everywhere. And this is worse when anger manifests itself in groups of people at a public demonstration. Since this dark and unbridled passion is one of the most dangerous that I think we still do not know how to manage as a society. Especially now that we are gradually approaching an institutional crisis in Chile, which I predict for the year 2,030 if we do not learn from the lessons of the past. How to Save Time and Not to Die Trying
This essay is based on the dialogue, On the brevity of life", written by Lucio Anne Seneca in 55 A.D. I wrote this essay adapting Seneca's dialogue; due to its impressive validity being written more than 2,000 years ago. I believe that Seneca's recommendations, adapted to current examples, enabling many people to make better decisions with the most valuable asset we have, I am referring to our time. I am interested that together discovers the immense wisdom that comes to us from the past, and that could make us avoid so much suffering from the misuse of time. Reading is listening. I guess reading that type of document is like being able to listen to the human being's experiences with a more common sense he wanted to guide us a long time ago, and whom we were not lucky enough to meet in person.
Digital Metamorphosis
We are in a century where civilization celebrates the advancement of digital technology, as well as its interference in all human interactions. Electronics has become part of our lives as a blessing, bringing us closer and closer to what we assume would be the powers of God. This story is about the life of Gabriel Kafka, an ordinary young man, who one day wakes up physically metamorphosed into a monstrous digital being, and who tries to fit into a family that only values him for what he can contribute financially.
Confucius Advising The Manager
This book provides practical advice for the daily management of a company. Managers have to deal with ethical or moral issues all the time and do not necessarily have the academic background to respond to these challenges. Because of this, I wrote this book with a series of recommendations for decision making based on Confucius' millenarian book "Analects". It is as if we were lucky enough to be able to hire as external consultant the wise Confucius, born more than 2000 years ago.

The Grammar of Causation and Interpersonal Manipulation
This volume presents fifteen original papers dealing with various aspects of causative constructions ranging from morphology to semantics with emphasis on language data from Central and South America. Informed by a better understanding of how different constructions are positioned both synchronically (e.g., on a semantic map) and diachronically (e.g., through grammaticalization processes), the volume affords a comprehensive up-to-date perspective on the perennial issues in the grammar of causation such as the distribution of competing causative morphemes, the meaning distinctions among them, and the overall form-meaning correlation. Morphosyntactic interactions of causatives with other phenomena such as incorporation and applicativization receive focused attention as such basic issues as the semantic distinction between direct and indirect causation and the typology of causative constructions.

It presents a projection of a potential coup d'etat in Chile. Based on the history that repeats crisis in Chile every 40 years [Coup d'etat in Chile. year 2030] This essay predicts that in 2030 there will be a new coup in Chile. That is, only in 13 more years. But I have made this projection in order to avoid it because I am a firm believer in democracy. As the best or least bad best way to govern. Because history shows that democracy allows the balance of powers at the lowest possible social cost such as death, exile, extremism, etc.
