Familias y educación social
Quizás sea cierto, como justifican algunos discursos y anuncian algunas políticas, que las familias no necesitan más apoyos que aquellos que les son ¿propios? (redes familiares, vecinales,?). La realidad muestra, sin embargo, que los itinerarios vitales de todas las familias son siempre complejos y que los nombres propios escapan, a menudo, a la ignorancia de algunas afirmaciones. La acción socioeducativa que defendemos nace del saber de las familias y su camino y resultado es una elaboración colectiva en la que también participamos las y los profesionales de la educación social (aunque no solo). Una acción intencional y proactiva basada en el vínculo educativo. Un vínculo que toma cuerpo en aquello que es el verdadero resorte de su incidencia: el acompañamiento educativo. Proponemos cuatro ejemplos de acompañamiento. Todos ellos reconocen y acogen aquello que se presenta como dificultad en las familias. Acoger el sufrimiento es confiar en las familias. Y confiar implica estar presentes como educadoras y educadores sociales.
