A woman has passed on and has the opportunity to view her prior incarnation on Earth with the love and support of her Soul Family. In viewing her prior lifetime she becomes immersed in the trials and tribulations that she had experienced. Itching to experience joy and fulfillment in her life, and believing herself to be a good person, she does not understand why she always seems to fall flat in her life, experiencing a series of disappointments. With the help of her Soul Family she realizes that her prior lifetime unfolded through a series of life lessons that were charted for her highest good, and that these lessons were actually a collection of spiritual experiences, and that life on Earth is one big schoolroom. Becoming enlightened by the power of choice, she is given the opportunity to review the attributes in her Being that are the most out of balance and the things she must do in order to return to a place of wholeness and freedom.

There is much to see in the mind's eye. Conjured from evil or told from on high. There are moments that come and go like the wind. And others that stay, never leaving again. Can you believe there are so many things to see and say everyday as we try to find our way? Welcome to life. Words, Rhymes & Rhythms Volume I: Abstract Journeys of Thought & Soul is the first in a trilogy of poetic verses, freeform thoughts, street life tales and short story imagery by D.H.S. Bogan. Each selection weaves a tale that travels the emotional gamut from humor to angst, raw reality to vivid imagination and through love and loss. Listen. Those that listen always hear what's going on, even if nothing is being said. Sensual and mysterious, disturbing yet curious, this compilation spans over twenty years of the author's life, uncovering the inner turmoil rarely spoken through the written word. Take a moment and listen

Western interpretations of poverty proverbs in the Old Testament Book of Proverbs have tended to see a status quo acceptance in the ancient texts, thus neglecting existential challenges of the poverty issue. In contrast, Lechion Peter Kimilike argues that African proverbial material on poverty may - when used comparatively to interpret the corresponding Old Testament poverty proverbs - create a more dynamic analysis. The author's new and thought-provoking interpretation suggests «an African transformational hermeneutic» that balances between the questions and methodology of the «global [i.e., western] guild» and the concerns of the African interpretative context.
