Buku EXPLORE SMP/MTs ini merupakan buku yang dikembangkan dengan pendekatan sains yang pasti akan disukai siswa, karena memiliki keunggulan sebagai berikut. Buku ini membiasakan siswa menjadi kreatif dengan memberikan kebebasan untuk mengeksplorasi pengetahuan yang diperoleh, sehingga siswa terbiasa melihat dan menemukan berbagai alternatif untuk menyelesaikan berbagai masalah yang dihadapi. Dengan demikian, siswa diharapkan dapat menjadi pemecah masalah (problem solver).
