LRCW 4
These two volumes contain the proceedings of the fourth LRCW conference, held in Thessaloniki. Approaches vary from traditional typo-morphological ones with emphasis on pottery sequences and local production centres to more technological proccedures involving archaeometric analyses investigating the clay fabric and its mineralogical and /or chemical composition. Syntheses tackle broad issues such as the commerce and the economy of the Late Antique world and cover almost the entire Mediterranean region. Papers are grouped thematically under the following headings: archaeology and economic history, production centers, distribution and consumption, regional contexts-east Mediterranean, regional contexts-west Mediterranean, and the Mediterranean: a market without frontiers.

Pseira VIII
Richard B. Seager excavated the Minoan town and cemetery at Pseira in 1906-1907, but the work was not fully published. The Temple University excavations (1985-1994) under the direction of Philip P. Betancourt and Costis Davaras conducted an intensive surface survey of the island. The results of the survey on the small island off the northeast coast of Crete are published in two volumes. Pseira VIII presents the results from the corollary studies that accompany the surface survey. Pseira IX presents the results from the intensive surface survey.

Hagios Charalambos
This is the first of five planned volumes to present the primary archaeological report about the excavation of the cave of Hagios Charalambos in eastern Crete. The Minoans used this small cavern as an ossuary for the secondary burial of human remains and grave goods, primarily during the Early and Middle Bronze Age. The geography and geology surrounding the cave is discussed along with the methodology of the excavation. A portion of the pottery and all of the small finds are presented with many illustrations.

Art and Religion in Medieval Armenia
This latest volume in The Metropolitan Museum of Art symposia series reprises The Met’s blockbuster exhibition Armenia! (2018–19)—the first major exhibition on the art of this highly influential culture at the crossroads of the eastern and western worlds. Building on the pioneering work of those who first established Armenian studies in America, these essays by a new generation of scholars address Armenia’s roles in facilitating exchange with the Mongol, Ottoman, and Persian empires to the East and with Byzantium and European Crusader states to the West. Contributors explore the effects of this tension in the history of Armenian art and how those histories persist into the present, as Armenia continues to grapple with the legacy of genocide and counters new threats to its sovereignty, integrity, and culture.
Hagios Charalambos
The finds from the cave at Hagios Charalambos in the Lasithi Plain illustrates secondary burial practices in Early and Middle Bronze Age Crete. The cavern adds to our knowledge of Early and Middle Minoan Lasithi and illuminates the function of the cave at Trapeza, which has close parallels for most classes of objects found at Hagios Charalambos. Most of the pottery from the site is made locally, but a selection of imports from elsewhere in Crete ranges in date from EM I or earlier to MM IIB.
