The Hand of Justice Series started out as one book, The Eye of Zoar - released in e-book format and paperback through Author House in July 2012 as A Rising Darkness. The original story was lost in a move and the re-writing of it resulted in plot changes that expanded the storyline - especially when the ending changed and I lost my main character. Such are the vagaries of fictional worlds I suppose. The norm for characters in this series is bi-sexuality. The main character is, to use the language of his world "slye" he beds only with men. Those readers looking for salacious scenes will probably be disappointed; the sexual nature of the men and women of Zetaria is a fact of life - and even in the use of prostitutes there is respect. The Dread Wolf picks up where A Rising Darkness ends.
I was six cycles old when I was taken. The soldiers came with ugly gaping mouths that screamed and yelled and drooled. They raped and murdered my father, my mother, my older brother and my sister. I was taken and given as a gift to the Crown Prince of Zetaria a monstrous, twisted man of strange tastes and some persuasions. But for the Kings Vizier, Anubis I would have been destined for a life of misery and depravity until the Prince tired of me. Anubis seized me from the Crown Princes clutches before the man could so much as breathe on me, claiming me as tribute for an enchantment worked in battle. The old mage raised me as the son he would never have. On that day my life changed forever.

Nikki Dorakis (1954-2013) was a Pagan Priest and an ordained Minister of the Church of Spiritual Humanism. Concerned with what he saw as a lack of spiritual guidance and the effect of modern societal changes on the male psyche, he began to explore the role of a Pagan Rite of Passage for young men and how this could be used to develop positive attitudes, qualities and attributes to the benefit of the individual, their community, and society as a whole. This unique text is drawn from his years of experience as an occultist, his own faith and the teachings of various spiritual seekers he met during extensive travels undertaken throughout his life. The text gives in-depth instructions on how to perform such Rites, but also explores what it really means to be a man; stripping away the stereotypes of male aggression and dominance, and discusses how a pagan rite of passage combined with the development of an ethical code can enable men to embrace and develop their multifaceted nature to stand within their own power and play a fulfilling role within society, to the benefit of all.
In the Quest for Mature Masculinity, Taylor Ellwood asks the question, "What does it mean to be a man?" and takes readers on a quest to find the answer. Taylor shares his own ongoing journey to answer this question, while also drawing on spiritual, embodied and primal aspects of the masculine to share how men can move out of the toxic patterns of macho masculinity or nice guy syndrome toward an embodied and present masculinity. Traditional and patriarchal systems of masculinity have taught men to push their emotions down, while putting on a front that everything is fine, but its not fooling anyone, and its leaving men behind and alone. Taylor shares why we need to deconstruct the traditional...
