Terapi Akupresur sebagai Alternatif Pengobatan Diabetes Melitus
Diabetes melitus atau biasa disebut penyakit gula merupakan kumpulan gejala yang timbul pada seseorang akibat tubuh mengalami gangguan dalam mengontrol kadar glukosa darah. Gangguan tersebut dapat disebabkan oleh sekresi hormon insulin tidak adekuat atau fungsi insulin terganggu (resistensi insulin) atau justru gabungan dari keduanya. Pengobatan yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan farmakologi (obat-obatan) bisa juga dengan nonfarmakologi (nonmedis) seperti Akupresur. Buku ini membahas tentang manfaat terapi akupresur sebagai alternatif pengobatan yang bisa dilakukan secara mandiri dengan menggunakan pijatan tangan. Di dalam buku ini juga menjelaskan tentang titik-titik akupresur serta cara pijatan, harapannya bisa menambah wawasan pengetahuan, keterampilan kepada pembaca sehingga tidak terlalu khawatir lagi dalam mengatasi kadar gula darah.
