This book is all about the introduction to the Docker. I have seen multiple lectures and doing containerization for the last 2 years and I would like to sum up my knowledge to provide basic steps to understand Docker. This book will tell you about how you can install docker and what is its use case. This is not intended for deep dive into docker use case but any developer who does not know docker can use this book content to understand the basic philosophy behind running docker and use this knowledge in enhancing career opportunities. After reading this book you will be able to launch docker containers easily and use them in creating a quick development environment. -Nitesh Malviya
Domain-Driven Design (DDD) concept was introduced by first Eric Evans in 2003. The concept of microservices did not exist at that time. So basically DDD was introduced to solve the problem of a large monolithic code base. In the monolithic world, once the codebase starts growing with the growth of the business, it becomes difficult to maintain the code organized and structured as it was originally designed. Monolithic applications designed using MVC architecture have good separation between the business layer and the presentation layer. But in the absence of the strict architectural guidelines, the business layer does not provide specific rules to maintain responsibility boundaries between different modules and classes. That’s why as the code base grows it increases the risk of logic breakdown, responsibility leakage between the different components of the application.
This book is all about the introduction to the CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins. I have seen many developers and small IT firms who still rely on manual deployments and code merging which many times turns into a disaster. You have to be careful with environment variables, database connections, etc while doing deployments and especially mission-critical production deployments. I wrote this book with my experience to convert a Laravel project manual deployment to completely automized via Jenkins. After reading this book you will be able to do all your future Laravel deployments via the power of CI/CD.

In March 2001, the website Tehelka broke Operation West End, the biggest undercover news story in Indian journalism. Using spycams and masquerading as arms dealers, Tehelka's reporters infiltrated the Indian government, bribed army officers, gave money to the president of the ruling party and the defence minister's close colleague right in the defence minister's residence. This eventually forced both the ministers'resignations. In a rigorously researched and searing authentic account of the Tehelka expose and its aftermath, Madhu Trehan does a forensic study of the imperatives at the root of it, the characters and heroes and villains of the story, and of how the system got back: by obfuscating, by attempting to destroy the investors without leaving any footprints. In the style of Rashomon, the story is related by numerous participants of the same incidents and, of course, none of the stories tally. With exhaustive personal interviews, this is a must-read for anybody who wants to understand modern India - or even better, modern international journalism.
This is my story when I left the job in July’2019 and started living my life, the way I wanted to live. Happiness and Joy altogether entered to my life. And I got surrounded by tranquility all around. And then suddenly all peace got disappeared. I got detected with a serious Fungal Infection in October’2019. And this book is all about how I dealt with depression, fear and failure during that time. In this book, you will find a way to see the things through sight. The sight which directs you to the reality and at the same time you can differentiate the positive aspect of life from the vanished things happening all around. And this is going to show you the invisible power which is hidden in the inner soul of a human being. “Circumstances are a valuable gift of life because sometimes they take us across and sometimes sink us. It is up to us how we adopt their influence. I had chosen life for myself in those odd circumstances.”
India is killing the Ganges, and the Ganges in turn is killing India. Victor Mallet traces the holy river from source to mouth, and from ancient times to the present day, to find that the battle to rescue what is arguably the world's most important river is far from lost.
Modeling, simulation, and optimization are three critical components of modern design practice that have grown tremendously over the last few decades with the increased use of computer-aided designs in engineering and industry. This book takes a multidisciplinary approach to the trends and challenges of computational modeling, simulation, and optimization techniques and their applications in the field of engineering sciences. It presents practical case studies and illustrations of computational techniques on materials and manufacturing in a diverse selection of applications, such as for drug delivery systems, for refrigeration models, for polymer and aluminum metal matrix composites, for automotive and aircraft applications, and even for talent management strategies on retaining talented employees.
