Through the eyes of photographer Paul Gaster, we see firsthand the evolution of the band that has captivated hearts around the world. We follow The Corrs' climb from their first gigs in the clubs of Dublin, played to an audience of friends and well-wishers, through their world tours, to the finale that was their triumphant homecoming concert in front of 42,000 fans at Landsdowne Road, Dublin. This collection, the culmination of a seven-year collaboration between band and photographer, is made up of hundreds of previously unseen photos taken from an archive of thousands. With its accompanying commentary, The Corrs: Corner to Corner offers an intimate portrait of a band and life on the road.

Reading for the food -- Rome -- Fooding the Bible -- The debate over dinner -- Mimesis, metaphor, embodiment.
This book offers a novel and unconventional approach to Roman culture, through food - or rather, food as it is represented in literature. Food is not generally thought of as the noblest of literary subjects, and this view is a legacy from the Romans, so it is curious that Roman writers chose so persistently to depict their society at the dinner-table. Why this was so, and what effect the inclusion of food had on the status of the literary texts that described it, are among the questions discussed here. The book also addresses problems that arise when a material subject is translated into words, and contains fresh interpretations of Latin texts that have been unjustly undervalued - comedy, satire, epigrams, letters, and iambics. While often regarded as something trivial and gross, food was in fact one of the most suggestive images for Roman civilization. -
Learn how fashion developed in Britain from the early 1970s, when designer fashion scarcely existed, to the present day, when London ranks alongside Paris, New York and Milan as a global fashion capital.
This superbly illustrated text familiarizes students with individual muscles and muscle systems and demonstrates basic clinical massage therapy techniques. More than 550 full-color illustrations of internal structures are embedded into photographs of live models to show each muscle or muscle group, surrounding structures, surface landmarks, and the therapist's hands. Students see clearly which muscle is being worked, where it is, where it is attached, how it can be accessed manually, what problems it can cause, and how treatment techniques are performed. This edition features improved illustrations of draping and includes palpation for each muscle. An accompanying Real Bodywork DVD includes video demonstrations of massage techniques from the book.
