Commonly referred to as the baby boomer's disease, arthritis afflicts over 10% of the population in one of its many forms -- osteoarthritis, rheaumatoid arthritis, Carpal-Tunnel Syndrome, tennis and mouse arm, fibromyalgia, gout. Not surprisingly, arthritis books are one of the hottest selling titles in the health category, with books like The Arthritis Cure selling ten of thousands of copies. Indeed, there are over 750 books listed on the amazon.com site that deal with arthritis. But most of these books take one of two approaches -- a traditional medical approach that prescribes a wide array of drugs for treating arthritis; or an alternative approach that recommends everything from flax oil to hydrotherapy. What sets Healing Arthritis apart from this crowd is the "complementary" medical and naturopathic approach taken by the two doctors writing the book, Dr Penny Kendall-Reed, ND (Naturopathic Doctor) and Stephen Reed, MD (Medical Doctor). This book incoroporates the best of both traditions with the latest research in both fields.

Because of its inherent simplicity, graph theory has a wide range of applications in engineering, and in physical sciences. It has of course uses in social sciences, in linguistics and in numerous other areas. In fact, a graph can be used to represent almost any physical situation involving discrete objects and the relationship among them. Now with the solutions to engineering and other problems becoming so complex leading to larger graphs, it is virtually difficult to analyze without the use of computers. This book is recommended in IIT Kharagpur, West Bengal for B.Tech Computer Science, NIT Arunachal Pradesh, NIT Nagaland, NIT Agartala, NIT Silchar, Gauhati University, Dibrugarh University...

Of the many brass bands that have flourished in Britain and Ireland over the last 200 years very few have documented records covering their history. This directory is an attempt to collect together information about such bands and make it available to all. Over 19,600 bands are recorded here, with some 10,600 additional cross references for alternative or previous names. This volume supersedes the earlier “British Brass Bands – a Historical Directory” (2016) and includes some 1,400 bands from the island of Ireland. A separate work is in preparation covering brass bands beyond the British Isles. A separate appendix lists the brass bands in each county
