Tositarina viisitoistavuotiaan juutalaispojan noususta Pohjoismaiden suurimman kustantamon omistajaksi Ruotsin ensimmäisen modernin kirjankustantajan kiehtova elämäntarina Vuonna 1835 juutalaisen kirjakauppiaan 15-vuotias poika Albert Bonnier saapui Kööpenhaminasta Tukholmaan. Kaksi vuotta myöhemmin hän julkaisi ensimmäisen kirjansa. Bonnierin aikana muutoksen tuulet puhalsivat Ruotsissa, niin teknisesti, poliittisesti, taloudellisesti kuin kirjallisuuden saralla. Kun Bonnier kuoli vuonna 1900, hän oli ruotsalaisen kaunokirjallisuuden merkittävin kustantaja. Hän saavutti tämän aseman rajusta antisemitismistä huolimatta. Albert Bonnier und seine Zeit
Albert Bonnier kam 1835 als Sohn eines jüdischen Buchhändlers von Kopenhagen nach Stockholm. Zwei Jahre später veröffentlichte er sein erstes Buch. Alberts Zeiten standen im Zeichen des Wandels: technisch, politisch, sozial, wirtschaftlich - und literarisch. Als er 1900 starb, war er der bedeutendste Herausgeber schwedischer Belletristik. Dass er diese Position trotz des Antisemitismus, der ihm entgegengebracht wurde, erreichte, grenzt an ein Wunder. Dies ist die Geschichte von Schwedens erstem modernen Verlag, der Mutter des Piper Verlags, der sich ständig an dem journalistischen Prinzip orientiert, das er sich zu eigen gemacht hat: verbreiten, nicht beurteilen.
Variation in Nominal Possessive Expressions
This book is an account of the variation between two possessive constructions in Danish and Swedish: the s-genitive (husets tak ‘the house’s roof’), and the prepositional construction (taket på huset ‘the roof of the house’). Present-day corpus data, as well as historical data (texts from 1250–1550) are explored. Through statistical and qualitative analysis, various factors that influence the choice between the two constructions are identified. The book offers new data on the genitive variation in Danish and Swedish. The approach is also novel as two closely related Scandinavian languages are compared from both a historical and a contemporary perspective.
