Weil die Lämmer nicht auf ihre innere Stimme hörten, sondern nur auf ihren Verstand, werden sie weiter den Leitlämmern vertrauen. Sie werden den Elitelämmern glauben und sie für ihre Heilsbringer halten, die nur das Beste wollen: ihr Geld, ihre Energie und ihre Seelen! Sie werden in der neuen Ordnung nichts vermissen. Denn niemand vermisst etwas, was er nie besaß. Es wird eine Welt am Draht sein, in der alle das Gefühl hätten, so frei wie nie zu sein. Eine Welt der Technik, in der es nur noch Mitläufer gäbe, denen die gebratenen Tauben in den Mund fliegen. Mag sein, dass es das Schlaraffenland ist, von dem schon immer erzählt wird.
Klassik, Pop, @ cetera
Die Klaviernoten sind eine Mischung aus verschiedenen Musikstilen, angefangen von Pop, Blues und Rock 'n' Roll, bis hin zu klassischen Elementen und 12-Ton-Musik. Oft sind sie aus einer Stimmung heraus entstanden, manchmal aber auch für einzelne Klavierschüler geschrieben. Viele Stücke sind einfach, andere durchaus anspruchsvoll. The Great Western Society

Starting in the 1830s and operating well into the 20h century, G.W.R. brough a sense of romance to train travel as it connected London to Western England and Wales. But while this British railway company is truly legendary, The Great Western Society has a fascinating history of its own. Formed in 1960, The Great Western Society was founded by a group of schoolboys who wanted to save a Great Western Tank locomotive and an auto trailer. A letter they sent to The Railway Magazine proposing their idea led to one of Britain’s most successful heritage railway projects. Today that original project has blossomed into the best collection of Great Western rolling stock and locomotives in the world.
Devon's Torre Abbey
Torre Abbey is an archaeological site of national importance. Founded in 1196, it became the wealthiest English monastery of the order of Premonstratensian canons. The extent of its survival makes Torre Abbey the best preserved medieval abbey in Devon and Cornwall. After King Henry VIII closed the monastery in 1539, two of its former ranges were adapted for use as a private house. From 1662, this house became the home of the Roman Catholic Cary family, who lived there for nearly 300 years. The story of Torre Abbey mirrors in a remarkable way the story of English Catholics during the years of the penal laws. The local council acquired Torre Abbey in 1930, and adapted it for use as an art gallery and Mayor's Parlour. Today, the abbey provides an ideal setting for Torbay's collection of paintings and antiques, most of which have been donated by local people. It has recently been restored and modernised. This book is the first complete history of Torre Abbey. It is based on the latest historical and architectural research, and is richly illustrated throughout.
