Modern management for the fulfilment of sustainable development goals requires support provided by controlling, especially 'green controlling', whose core focus is on environmental and social issues. This book presents controlling within the concept of sustainable development as an element contributing to the increase of enterprise value. The authors of this monograph have explored topics in connection with environmental and social determinants, at the same time presenting their financial consequences for company business. As a result, the publication demonstrates, in the theoretical dimension, that activities undertaken in an organized and coordinated fashion with a view of sustainable development goals may and should be regarded in connection with finance.

The Power of Myth, or on the Meanders of Historical Writing
This monograph presents a critical analysis of the body of historical writing on the history of the Jewish population in Poznania in the era of the Prussian rule (1772-1918 ), including the identification and verification of the attendant myths and stereotypes. The interest in the Polish edition of this book was considerable. Similarly noticeable was the academic response to the title, despite its ostensibly local subject matter. While this study was also noticed abroad, the language barrier has severely impeded its impact. This prompted the author to work towards the English edition of this book, hoping it would find its way into global academic circulation. Some changes and additions were made in the English version. It includes an updated survey of scholarship on this subject of the past twenty years, a response to reviews engaging with the Polish edition, and some general reflections on the evolution of historiography in the recent years.
Zielony controlling i finanse. Podstawy teoretyczne
Proces zarządzania współczesnym przedsiębiorstwem pod kątem realizacji celów koncepcji rozwoju zrównoważonego wymaga wsparcia ze strony controllingu, zwłaszcza „zielonego controllingu”, w którym szczególne znaczenie mają kwestie ekologiczne. W książce przedstawiono controlling w ramach koncepcji rozwoju zrównoważonego tak, aby jego wykorzystanie mogło przyczynić się do wzrostu wartości przedsiębiorstwa. Autorzy monografii podjęli wątki związane z uwarunkowaniami środowiskowymi i społecznymi, przedstawiając jednocześnie ich finansowe konsekwencje dla działalności przedsiębiorstwa. W rezultacie, w opracowaniu udało się w wymiarze teoretycznym wykazać, że podejmowane w sposób uporządkowany i skoordynowany działania na rzecz realizacji celów rozwoju zrównoważonego można i należy rozpatrywać w powiązaniu z finansami.

Szkoła Podstawowa Nr 1 historia i ciekawostki W budynku szkolnym, w ktrym po 1945 roku utworzono jednostkę oświatową znaną jako SP nr 1, uczyło się wiele rocznikw rybniczan, na rżnym poziomie edukacyjnym. Od roku szkolnego 1924/1925 maturzyści, a od 1937 roku absolwenci Szkoły Ludowej, a następnie roczniki 7– klasowej Szkoły Podstawowej. Wsplnym mianownikiem tych pokoleń, to ich korzenie rybnickie.
