W książce przedstawiono controlling w ramach koncepcji rozwoju zrównoważonego tak, aby jego wykorzystanie mogło przyczynić się do wzrostu wartości przedsiębiorstwa. Autorzy monografii podjęli wątki związane z uwarunkowaniami środowiskowymi i społecznymi, przedstawiając jednocześnie ich finansowe konsekwencje dla działalności przedsiębiorstwa.
