Sanaz Alasti leaves the mainstream alternatives to incarceration to examine a different, seemingly archaic approach, physical (but non-carceral) punishment—corporal punishment. The Death Penalty in Iran

The death penalty in Iran is familiar to most readers because capital punishment exists in the domestic law of most Islamic nations, but the ways by which these states employ capital punishment are varied and inconsistent.
