A Sport and Recreation Strategy for Saskatchewan for the 90's
The Department of Parks, Recreation and Culture undertook a major consultation process in the fall of 1987 to discuss the following areas: what new and emerging needs will the sport and recreation community in Saskatchewan be facing as it enters the next decade? In view of these needs what should be the department's future role in sport and recreation? Finally, what initiatives should be considered and proposed by the department when addressing emerging sport and recreation needs in Saskatchewan? A discussion paper based on these points was distributed for public input. This document incorporates the input which was received from approximately 400 persons attending public hearings.
