THE NEW YORK TIMES AND SUNDAY TIMES BESTSELLER Hi! I'm Seth! I was asked to describe my book, Yearbook, for the inside cover flap (which is a gross phrase) and for websites like this one, so... here it goes!!! Yearbook is a collection of true stories that I desperately hope are just funny at worst, and life-changingly amazing at best. (I understand that it's likely the former, which is a fancy "book" way of saying "the first one.") I talk about my grandparents, doing stand-up comedy as a teenager, bar mitzvahs and Jewish summer camp, and tell way more stories about doing drugs than my mother would like. I also talk about some of my adventures in Los Angeles, and surely say things about other famous people that will create a wildly awkward conversation for me at a party one day. I hope you enjoy the book should you buy it, and if you don't enjoy it, I'm sorry. If you ever see me on the street and explain the situation, I'll do my best to make it up to you.

Seth Rogen

Canadian-born Seth Rogen has an accomplished career. With more than forty acting credits, four produced screenplays, more than a dozen short film and TV show scripts, and sixteen producing credits, Rogen is anything but the slacker character he has played in his most popular and often R-rated films. The author addresses the more controversial aspects of Rogen's movies and explains how the content and comedic style of these productions have sometimes put Rogen at the center of battles over censorship and ratings, as well as stirred controversy among critics, the media, and parental watch groups.

Seth and Evan are accepting the fact that they will be going to different colleges in the fall. Now, it seems more imporant than ever that they go to a high school party, and achieve some of their long time goals. This includes, but is not limited to, losing their virginity with the girl of their dreams by getting them wasted and being their "regret hookup." Their awkward friend Fogell gets a fake ID, with just the name McLovin, and agrees to get liquor to bring to Jules' a.k.a. Seth's dream girl's graduation party. All seems to be going well until McLovin is suckerpunched in the liquor store by a robber. When the police come, they try to get a story out of the clerk, but she is too worried about her exam tomorrow, so they question McLovin.

University Press returns with another short and captivating biography of one of history's most compelling figures, Seth Rogen. Seth Rogen may already be the most accomplished actor / comedian / writer / producer / director / humanitarian / entrepreneur of the 21st century. From stand-up comedy to big screen blockbusters, and from charity work to a bold new business venture, Rogen is a humble guy with a great laugh. But make no mistake: he is changing Hollywood, fighting disease, shaping public policy, and promoting a burgeoning industry. Born in Vancouver, British Columbia on April 15, 1982, Seth Aaron Rogen was raised by Jewish parents, started doing stand-up comedy at age 12, wrote Superbad at age 13, met Judd Apatow, dropped out of high school, moved to Los Angeles, landed a role in Freaks and Geeks, starred in Hollywood blockbusters, created an international incident involving North Korea, testified about Alzheimer's disease before the United States Congress, wrote and directed more movies, and started a promising new company. This short book tells the intensely human story of a man who is changing the world in a way that no one else can.

Summary of Seth Rogen's Yearbook

Buy now to get the key takeaways from Seth Rogen's Yearbook Sample Key Takeaways: 1) Growing up in Vancouver, Seth Rogen was lucky to have parents who were supportive of his dream of becoming a stand-up comedian. At age 12, he began enrolling in stand-up comedy workshops, where he’d perform nights at a local lesbian bar. 2) One of the first lessons Rogen learned about comedy was that it wasn’t supposed to be about things that you liked. People wanted to hear about things you disliked, or wanted to change. For Rogen, he thought of his grandparents, whom he strongly disliked spending time with.

Spoiled Brats (including the story that inspired the film An American Pickle starring Seth Rogen)

This hilarious collection of short stories from the award-winning humorist Simon Rich includes the story that inspired the Seth Rogen comedy An American Pickle. Having skewered the problems of falling in and out of love in The Last Girlfriend on Earth, Simon Rich's next book is another subject we can all relate to: parents and their kids. From the perils of raising an actual monster in Manhattan - it's pretty hard to find teachers who really understand the talents of a five-year-old with horns and a taste for blood - to Sell Out, the story of Simon's ancestor, returned to life decades after an industrial accident involving pickling brine, these stories are inventive, witty and sometimes a bit too much like real life.
