Well, I guess it is a little late now. Is it though? Maybe I could make it back before he gets home from his trip. He won't have to know I tried to get away. I looked at my watch, right as the bus started pulling away from the station. Then again... maybe not. I guess it doesn't matter. If I go home now, he'll be there.
