Frank W. Hurst was born in 1863 in Pennsylvania. He married three times and was the father of eight children. He died in 1940.
Johannes Detweiler was born August 24, 1721. He married Anna Reiff November 1, 1744. He was a merchant in Perkiomen Twp. and owned a 200 acre farm near Rahns, Pennsylvania. He died December 9, 1806. Descendants live mainly in Pennsylvania, with some in other locations in the United States and Canada. Includes Alderfer, Benner, Cassel, Detweiler, Detwiler, Hallman, Hansicker, Landis, Moyerl, Ziegler and related families.

John Bennett married Elizabeth in about 1681. They had five children, all of whom were born in North Farnham Parish, Richmond County, Virginia. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, Georgia, North Carolina, Louisiana and Texas.
Jacob Good (b. ca. 1712) came to America from Rotterdam with his wife Susannah in 1732. They settled first near Weaverland, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. In 1738 they moved to Brecknock Township of the same county where Bowmansville is now located. Descendants and relatives lived in chiefly in Pennsylvania.

The Hunsperger/Hunsberger/Huntsberger/Huntzberger families originally of Canton Bern, Switzerland. By about 1720 three brothers, Hans, Jacob and Ulrich Hunsperger, were living in Franconia Twp., Philadelphia Co., Pennsylvania. Hans had no known descendants. Therefore descendants in these books are mainly those of Jacob and Ulrich's. Includes other Huntzberger/Hunsberger etc. families that cannot be connected to these three brothers at this time. Family members have migrated all over the United States and Canada.
John and Maria Schallenberger Witmer came to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania from Berne, Switzerland. They took out land in 1760. Levi Witmer was one of their descendants. Descendants lived in Pennsylvania and elsewhere.
