Otto Wagner is considered as the "father of the Viennese modernism" and one of the most important international architects. The publication on the MAK exhibition illustrates the resonance of Wagner's oeuvre by protagonists of early modernism as well as his influence on his contemporaries, students and subsequent generations of architects and designers such as Josef Hoffmann, Joze Plečnik, Leopold Bauer, Rudolph M. Schindler, Frank Lloyd Wright, Auguste Perret, Frei Otto, Aldo Rossi and Robert Venturi/Denise Scott Brown. With generous and often unknown image material the book illustrates Wagner's influence on international architecture from the turn of the century to the present, and thus a link between the intricate relationship of modernism and postmodernism.

In the context of digital technologies, copying data material is as ubiquitous as it is invisible. "originalcopy" is an artistic and scientific research project that illuminates the possibilities of this phenomenon, and opens them up for discussion with its own means - those of the copy. The project concentrates on the tension between the transience of digital technologies and the way in which these technologies express themselves in an artistic language of design and materials. In so doing, "originalcopy" focuses less on the results of copying than on the processes that lead to these results.

Mother, Brother, Lover

Jarvis Cocker is widely regarded as one of the most original and memorable lyricists and performers of the last three decades. Here, for the first time, is a selection of sixty-six lyrics, presented with commentary and an introduction by the man himself. In this volume, readers (and Pulp fans) will find such classic Jarvis lyrics as 'Common People', 'Disco 2000', 'Babies', 'This is Hardcore' and 'Do You Remember the First Time?' The selection, assembled by the author, reveals a sensibility that is unmistakeably Jarvis: a sometimes visceral, sometimes everyday take on love, relationships and the things we do to each other when the lights get low. Mother, Brother, Lover takes the reader on a thirty-year tour into the life, art and preoccupations of one of the great British artists of the late twentieth century. Shocking, sharp, clever and funny, it is a beautiful collection of lyrics and commentary.

The Creation of Feminist Consciousness

"In its emphasis on the force of ideas, the struggle of women for inclusion in the concept of the Divine, the repeated attempts by women to form supportive networks, and its analysis of the preconditions for the formation of political theories of liberation, this brilliant work charts new ground for historical studies, the history of ideas, and feminist theory."--Jacket.
