This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 22nd International Conference on Intelligent Data Engineering and Automated Learning, IDEAL 2021, which took place during November 25-27, 2021. The conference was originally planned to take place in Manchester, UK, but was held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 61 full papers included in this book were carefully reviewed and selected from 85 submissions. They deal with emerging and challenging topics in intelligent data analytics and associated machine learning paradigms and systems. Special sessions were held on clustering for interpretable machine learning; machine learning towards smarter multimodal systems; and computational intelligence for computer vision and image processing.

This book constitutes the joint refereed proceedings of the 12th International Workshop on Approximation Algorithms for Combinatorial Optimization Problems, APPROX 2009, and the 13th International Workshop on Randomization and Computation, RANDOM 2009, held in Berkeley, CA, USA, in August 2009. The 25 revised full papers of the APPROX 2009 workshop and the 28 revised full papers of the RANDOM 2009 workshop included in this volume, were carefully reviewed and selected from 56 and 58 submissions, respectively. APPROX focuses on algorithmic and complexity issues surrounding the development of efficient approximate solutions to computationally difficult problems. RANDOM is concerned with applications of randomness to computational and combinatorial problems.

The four-volume set, LNCS 12825, LNCS 12826, LNCS 12827, and LNCS 12828, constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 41st Annual International Cryptology Conference, CRYPTO 2021. Crypto has traditionally been held at UCSB every year, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic it was an online event in 2021. The 103 full papers presented in the proceedings were carefully reviewed and selected from a total of 426 submissions. Advances in Artificial Intelligence
This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 19th Conference of the Spanish Association for Artificial Intelligence, CAEPIA 2020, which was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, amalgamated with CAEPIA 2021, and held in Malaga, Spain, during September 2021. The 25 full papers presented were carefully selected from 40 submissions. The Conference of the Spanish Association of Artificial Intelligence (CAEPIA) is a biennial forum open to researchers from all over the world to present and discuss their latest scientific and technological advances in Antificial Intelligence (AI). The book is subdivided into the following topical headings: machine learning, optimization and search, and real-world applications. This book constitutes the proceedings of the 24th International Conference on Algorithmic Learning Theory, ALT 2013, held in Singapore in October 2013, and co-located with the 16th International Conference on Discovery Science, DS 2013. Parameterized and Exact Computation
This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-conference proceedings of the 9th International Symposium on Parameterized and Exact Computation, IPEC 2014, in Wroclaw, Poland, in September 2014. The 27 revised full papers presented together with one invited paper were carefully reviewed and selected from 42 submissions. The topics addressed cover research in all aspects of parameterized/exact algorithms and complexity including but are not limited to new techniques for the design and analysis of parameterized and exact algorithms, fixed-parameter tractability results; parameterized complexity theory, relationship between parameterized complexity and traditional complexity classifications; applications of parameterized and exact exponential-time computation; and implementation issues of parameterized and exact exponential-time algorithms.
