North Woods: The Enemy Within, is set in Montreal and the Indian Reservations bordering Quebec Province and New York State during the early 1990's. This period of time follows the demise of the former Soviet Union and the end of the Cold War. The novel follows an investigation into Russian operatives attempting to infiltrate and control human trafficking and black marketing of tobacco and alcohol products sold on the Indian Reservations bordering both countries. Further investigative evidence reveals extensive sabotage of secret weapon systems aboard ships of the Canadian Navy. Are the Russians to blame or is it a domestic plot against the Government?
