Pendidikan Agama Islam di Kesultanan Siak Sri Indrapura (1917-1945)
Kesultanan Siak Sri Indrapura merupakan sebuah kerajaan Melayu Islam yag pernah berdiri di Kabupaten Siak, Provinsi Riau, Indonesia. Kesultanan ini didirikan di Buantan oleh Raja Kecik dari Pagaruyung bergelar Sulthan Abdoel Djalil Rahmat Syah (1723-1745), setelah sebelumnya terlibat dalam perebutan tahta Johor. Kesultanan Siak Sri Indrapura telah memainkan peranan penting dalam pendidikan agama Islam pada tahun 1917-1945 yang saat itu berada di bawah kekuasaan Sulthan Sjarif Kasim II yang bergelar Sulthan Assyaidis Sjarif Kasim Sani Abdoel Djalil Saifoedin (1908-1946).
