Letter written to Bullitt while he was at college in Danville from his friend who signs the letter only as W.C.F. [William Carr Fenley]. The letter talks of the Presidential election of 1856. The writer feels that Maryland's governor should go ahead and let Fillmore have the states since Buchanan won the election.
